Love a brick home with spacious layout! Charm's a plus!!

Our perfect home is a brick cottage style or ranch home in the Porters Neck or Hampstead area that still has a Wilmington address. We love the Plantation Landing neighborhood and Lincoln Forest behind Indepence Mall as well. Of course we are open to wherever there may be a great option. We're not afraid of a home that needs updating, however if it already is we'd prefer that. It has a garage or storage building. It's around 1400-1800sqft or close enough with hardwood floors and a small yard to work outdoors with my flowers. Space between houses is a definite plus. A must have is a walk-in shower or the ability to convert easily! I'd love a neighborhood with friendly neighbors as well. Some perks would be a gas log fire place and white kitchen cabinets. We may have to be flexible on some of this, and would love to know what's out there!!
